For the past 20 years I have worked as an assistant in State and
Local Government Law in addition to assisting with candidate
fundraisers, republican events and Lincoln Day Dinners. I have
been part of the Leadership 1000 group for over 15 years and President
of the Orlando Republican Women's Network for 2 years, in addition to
acting as advisor to the Club and Chairing the Nominating Committee.
I have extensive leadership experience with many organizations including
the Women's Executive Council Orlando Board and assisting on the Women's
Achievement Awards Committee.
I have been on the Corporate Board of Executive Women International as Secretary/Treasurer; Marketing/Public Relations Director; Chaired the Planned Giving Program and served as Corporate Membership Advisor over various Chapters throughout the United States. I have also served on Corporate Committees such as Marketing, Audit, Budget, Minutes Review, and Expansion of Executive Women International in addition to being a delegate to the Leadership Conference and Annual Meeting for 3 years and Alumnus of the Executive Women International Leadership Academy.
On a local basis I was President of Executive Women International Orlando Chapter for 5 years and served in numerous board positions as Vice President, Treasurer, Membership Director, Corporate Advisor, Nominating Committee Chair, Silent Auction Chair ad Scholarship Chair.
I am currently a Stephen Minister and Stephen Minister Leader. I facilitate a Womenís Cancer Support Group and Chair the Congregational Care Committee at First Presbyterian Church of Orlando. I have also participated on the Central Florida Council Boy Scouts of America Silent Auction Committee for the past 10 years. In the past I have been Treasurer of the Pratt Area Community Council in New York and have been a Delegate to the Girl Scouts USA Annual Meeting and participated in numerous positions with Girl Scout Council of Greater New York (i.e. Chairman of Area Nominating Committee; Service Unit Manager; Cookie Captain; Cookie Association Chairman; Calendar Cupboard Chair; Junior, Cadette and Senior Scout Leader).
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York where I received an A.A.S. degree with Honors in Legal Secretarial Studies. I have lived and worked as a legal assistant in England for almost 5 years and then returned to the United States and have spent the last 25 years in the Orlando, Florida area. I am married to my husband Fred Larsen, a native Floridian, for the past 15 years.
I am also a recipient of the Outstanding Republican Award in 2011, and have received the Appreciation Pin and Thanks Badge from Girl Scouts USA.

My practice areas include Family Law (emphasis on Fatherís Rights), Criminal Law, & Personal Injury. My style is effective, aggressive and diligent representation, seeking always to advance my clients interests. I am an active participant in several legal associations including the Central Florida Family Law American Inns of Court, the Orange County Bar Association, Federalist Society and the American Bar Association. In addition, I am certified as a Florida Supreme Court Family Law Mediator and admitted to practice in the United States Tax Court.
My first years after graduating from law school were spent running a UCF incubator enterprise that catered to college students looking to simultaneously obtain worthwhile career experience and make money, by offering long-term temporary assignments. I am the author of a white paper entitled, Employment Revolution - Strategies for Addressing the Baby Boom Bust and the Gen-X Surge. In addition, I am a Certified Diversity Trainer and have conducted workshops in areas from interviewing to consulting small business which has given me a view of the issues presented on both the human resource and legal sides of the coin. Florida Trends Magazine selected me for a feature piece in the July 2011 issue.
My experience and community involvement have rewarded me with invitations to deliver numerous keynote speeches to over hundreds of people. Events include speeches at the Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Florida Career Expo and Diversity Job fair, the We are Wonderful Women Networking Conference, at the Florida Business Expo (keynote), Orange County Public Schools- Alternative education- and my advice has been quoted in an article entitled, Revamp Your resume With These Valuable tips, published by The Network Journal and political pieces.

I am Martha L. Cabot, born and
raised in New Hampshire, college education received at Bates College in
Maine, and I now live in Florida. I have been a Republican since
birth, given the house I grew up in. I have worked with various
organizations over the years in an effort to keep excess government, the
secular progressives, and so on, from changing our great nation.
We are now in times that are very treacherous and need to be more vigilant, more positive and enthusiastic than ever in fighting back. Together we can be a great and powerful voice that can be heard at the RNC and in Washington. We have the right and the power to bring our great country back for future generations.

For those of you who
donít know me, I worked for Bell Atlantic Directory Services now called
something I donít even recognize for 27 Ĺ years.
My last assignment was
my favorite: I managed a group of 4 Assistant Managers, and 5 Associates.
Our functions included:
determining what new software would be installed to our publishing systems
(Yellow and White Page Directories); testing all the new software
enhancements prior to their installation; table maintenance for the
systems; Help Desk; and Quality Control Measurements.
I retired in January of 1999 and Don and I decided to leave the high-tax state of Maryland and relocated to Sebring, Florida. This was a great decision, we love it here and plan to stay the rest of our lives. In 2003, I went to work for a family owner citrus company, Crutchfield Groves, Inc. in Sebring. There I became a bookkeeper and found the second best job of my life. I worked there for 6 years and during that time, I managed the installation of a new accounting system, prepared and input all the table data for the three companies; and wrote user manuals for each job function; three different positions.
So this tells you why I wanted to be your treasurer again. I LOVE bookkeeping.
I was the secretary for the Queen Anne's County Executive Committee (Maryland); Vice Chairman of the Highlands County Executive Committee; secretary, treasurer (for 6 years), and newsletter editor for the Highlands County Republican Women's Network. In 1998, I was the District Chairman for the Queen Annes County area to elect Ellen Sauerbrey for Governor. I managed the first George W. Bush campaign for Highlands County. I received Republican of the year in 1998 in Queen Anne's Country, Maryland; and Volunteer of the Year in Highlands County in 2004.
Throughout my business career and as a prior member of the FWPN Board, I have always strived to be a team player. My main role is to keep an accurate accounting of the finanaces of the FWPN; prepare an annual budget; prepare all necessary reports for the FWPN and the IRS monthly and annual tax reporting; and to generally guard the FWPN funds like there were my own. I will be very supportive of the new team in all their endeavors to grow our organization and educate our members. I'm definitely one of those people you can count on to be there when I'm needed.
