Raised and lived in Highlands County all my life except 4 years of living in Upper Michigan after marrying my husband just over 30 years ago.  We are self employed, my husband is a painting contractor for over 25 years and I've managed all the office duties for that time.

We have a son that after school spent 7 years in the army, then got a Bachelor's degree using his G.I. Bill.  (We're very proud of him).  We have a daughter with our only grandson and love spending time with them.

After moving home just over 25 years ago and starting our business, I've bowled with women's groups, I've joined a few networking groups to meet more friends and hopefully share experiences in doing good things for our community.

I am currently an active member of our local women's club and recently voted in as Assistant treasurer.

Our paint business is a member of a local business group that helps promote and refer business to the others, as well as taking care of their customers they refer to us.

I enjoy meeting people, and helping where I can when I can.  I love animals and would take them all in if I could!  We have 3 smaller dogs that are our children and spoil them rotten.  I love going to the Ray's baseball games, coloring, reading, and just relaxing, when time permits.

I was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. & moved to Florida the day after I got married in 1968; my husband Norman and I just celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary.  I raised 3 boys, 2 of which have passed away, one from Cystic Fibrosis at 19 y/o and my other son was killed by a drunk driver at age 27.  My youngest son Brad is an engineer and is married to Brandi; they just celebrated their 5th anniversary.

After my first son died, I went to school to become an R.N. After working as a nurse for several years, I became involved in politics and served 3 years on the Palm Bay City Council and 8 years on the Brevard County Commission.

Since retirement in 2009, I’ve been volunteering with multiple organizations.  I am currently the Treasurer of the Republican Women’s Network of South Brevard; Treasurer of our HOA and Secretary of the Sertoma Club of Palm Bay.  I have volunteered on multiple campaigns as well as have been Campaign Managers for local, judicial and Congressional candidates.
